Poke were tasked to re-design the History Channel and it's sister sites Bio, Crime & Investigation and Military History. The sites were designed as a set, requiring a common architecture that could house all of the functions all four sites might require, plus be capable of accommodating multiple languages for future overseas' use. The sites had to provide program support and scheduling information to drive appointment to view, whilst simultaneously offering on-demand content for consumption online. In addition a content deal with Encyclopedia Britannica saw 50,000 historical articles added to the sites timeline and ‘This day in history’ sections. Role: Art Director.
